EXHIBIT 1 <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />Center Point Water Line Extension <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />11. The City will provide pipe diameter, class and test pressures based on hydraulic and surge <br />analysis performed by others. <br />12. The City will provide the CR 266 16" Water Line plans and specifications, and record drawings <br />when available. <br />13. The City will provide material testing during construction. <br />Additional Services <br />Additional Services to be performed, if authorized in writing by the City, but which are not included in the <br />above-described Basic and Supplemental Scope of Services, and once a mutually agreed upon fee is <br />negotiated are as follows: <br />1. Preparation for and attendance at public meeting(s). <br />2. Performing Geotechnical Investigation, Soil Analysis, or Subsurface Utility Engineering, <br />3. Performing title searches for easement or joint -use agreement preparation. <br />4. Preparation of easement/ boundary exhibits and legal descriptions. <br />5. Preparation of mill and overlay plans, roadway plans, pavement designs, drainage plans, <br />driveway plans, culvert plans, roadway cross-sections, sidewalk plans, utility relocation plans, <br />and/or dry utility plans. <br />6. Acting as an agent of the City in the acquisition of permanent or temporary easements. <br />7. Preparation of platting documents and/or real property survey for site acquisition. <br />8. Formal and informal coordination with the TCEQ, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, <br />USFWS, USACE, or other regulatory agencies during the course of the Project. <br />9. Preparing applications and supporting documents for government grants, loans, or planning <br />advances. <br />10. Appearing before regulatory agencies or courts as an expert witness in any litigation with third <br />parties or condemnation proceedings arising from the development or construction of the Project, <br />including the preparation of engineering data and reports for assistance to the City. <br />11. Providing professional services associated with archeological survey, monitoring, testing, and <br />data recovery. <br />12. Providing professional services associated with archeological trenching and human remains <br />evaluation, coordination, removal, or reinternment. <br />13. Providing professional services associated with historic buildings/structures reconnaissance, <br />intensive study, NRHP nominations, or HABS/HAER documentation. <br />14. Providing professional services associated with species presences/absence surveys. <br />15. Preparation or support for an Edwards Aquifer Protection Plan. <br />R <br />
