RESOLUTION NO. 2023-27R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS,TEXAS AUTHRORIZ ING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT <br /> AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,859 FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> JUSTICE FY22 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE <br /> AWARD TO PURCHASE A VERTICAL PLATFORM FOR ITS EVIDENCE <br /> AND STORAGE ROOMS AND EQUIPMENT AND A DIGITAL IMAGER; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE <br /> A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND ALL DOCUMENTS AS <br /> NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE GRANT AWARD; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The acceptance of a grant award in the amount of$20,859 from the Department <br /> of Justice FY22 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Award to purchase a vertical platform <br /> for the City's evidence and storage room and equipment and a digital imager is hereby authorized. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is hereby authorized to execute any and all <br /> documents such as a Memorandum of Understanding as necessary to implement the grant award. <br /> PART 3.
