full allocation of the grant funds; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and the mutual benefits and <br /> promises herein,the County and City agree as follows: <br /> Section 1. Grant Status <br /> The City and County agree to the City receiving the full amount of the JAG award, in the <br /> amount of$20,859, and be the sole responsible party for this award. <br /> Section 2. Disbursement and Use of Grant Funds <br /> The City shall be the sole recipient of the JAG award and shall use the funding for the purchase <br /> of a vertical platform to utilize within its newly renovated and expanded evidence and storage <br /> rooms and equipment, and to purchase a Digital Imager, a piece of forensic equipment that will <br /> expand current staff capability and capacity to process digital images from various electronic <br /> devices, such as desktop computers, laptops, and other storage devices. <br /> Section 3. Conditions Precedent <br /> This Agreement shall become effective and binding on the City and the County upon <br /> approval by the Hays County Commissioners Court and the San Marcos City Council. <br /> Section 4. Amendments <br /> This Agreement can be amended only by written approval of the Hays County <br /> Commissioners Court and the San Marcos City Council. <br />
