Development and release of documents to communicate responsibilities and procedures <br /> to City personnel, clients, and the public will follow for the duration of the defined public <br /> health advisory. <br /> 1.8.5. The CDC has developed procedures for cleaning and disinfecting facilities and vehicles, <br /> which includes recommendations on minimum requirements for scheduling of certain <br /> activities. This recommendation has been incorporated as Appendix A. It should be noted <br /> that local governments, health departments, and product manufacturers may have other <br /> requirements or recommendations that should be considered as part of the City's <br /> purchasing and procurement evaluation process. <br /> 1.8.6. Equipment and materials have the potential to cause damage to agency property if not <br /> used properly. Therefore, it is recommended that the City utilize available information <br /> supplied by the manufacturer or other credible industry sources to assess the materials <br /> and equipment discussed herein for short- and long-term effects of these materials and <br /> equipment on the agency's facilities and vehicles. <br /> 1.8.7. It is likely that during pandemics, materials and equipment could be in limited supply. <br /> Should these materials and equipment not be available,there may be suitable alternatives, <br /> but each product identified should have been thoroughly evaluated by a recognized third <br /> party (such as FTA, industry association, etc.) to determine its effectiveness in protecting <br /> against the spread of the virus. <br /> u'^°= Documentation <br /> 1.8.8. Development and release of documents to communicate responsibilities and procedures <br /> to City personnel, contractors(including subcontractors)engaged by the City in the delivery <br /> or support of transit services, clients, and the public will be developed and approved by the <br /> City, with input from the Director of Public Works and with assistance from the Transit <br /> Manager(or their designee) prior to release. <br /> 1.8.9. Copies of documents developed to communicate responsibilities and procedures to City <br /> personnel, contractors (including subcontractors) engaged by the City in the delivery or <br /> support of transit services clients and the public shall be maintained and archived in <br /> keeping with City documentation management practices. <br /> 1.8.10. Checklists to document cleaning and disinfecting procedures employed for vehicles and <br /> facilities shall be maintained and archived in keeping with City documentation management <br /> practices. <br /> �r <br /> i <br />
