32 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JANUARY 14, 1991 PRESENT: Mayor Kathy M. Morris Mayor Pro-Tem Billy G. Mayor Morris called the meeting to 'order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four appointments to the Airport Commission. Mayor Morris moved to reappoint LaMoyne Livingston, appoint Cindy Rodriguez and appoint Bob McDonald and Ms. Kissler moved to appoint Stan Ault, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to the Historic Preservation Commission of a person from the architecture or design field of expertise. Mr. Plummer moved to appoint Dianna Murphree (who presently serves on this Commission as a property owner from the Belvin Street Historic District) and to appoint Col. Ernest E. (Tom) Arledge to complete the vacancy of Dianna Murphree as a property owner from the Belvin Street Historic District and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four appointments to the Parks and Recreation Board. Mayor Morris moved to appoint Tom Allen, Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Rose DeLeon, and Ms. Kissler moved to reappoint Maurice (Mo) Johnson and reappoint George Boemerman, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four appointments to the Senior citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Guerra moved to reappoint Dr. Martin Juel, reappoint David Jorgenson, reappoint Petra Nicola and appoint Sammie Hardeman, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Cemetery Commission to complete a vacancy. Mayor Morris moved to appoint Ken Kohut, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to complete a vacancy on the Solid Waste Management Committee (Temporary). Mr. Hernandez moved to appoint Martha Latta to complete a vacancy, which passed unanimously.
