121 Regular Meeting March 25, 1991 Page 2 Mr. Plummer moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Moore seconded the motion. Mayor Morris moved to amend the Letter Agreement on the second page to set the cap on total fees to be charged under this agreement at $25,000.00 and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the Resolution. Ms. Kissler moved to reconsider this item and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Ms. Kissler moved to amend Part 1 of the Resolution to correct a typographical error from election power to electric power and for adoption as amended and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 11, 1991, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of five Resolutions, approval of two change orders: (1) Change Order No.2 to Spring Lake Water System Improvements in the amount of $10,525.00 for modifications to the Spring Lake Tank retaining wall and (2) Change Order No.3 for the Westover Addition Street and Drainage Improvement Project in the amount of $23,785.85 for additional work, and authorization to solicit and receive Requests for Proposals for Architectural Services for the new Police Headquarters and Training Facility at the Widelite Building. The Council commended the Fire Department's entering into the mutual aid agreements. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 11, 1991 (Ms. Kissler and Mr. Hernandez abstaining - these minutes were not approved at this meeting - see Page 3 of these Minutes), for adoption of the two Ordinances on third and final reading, for adoption of the five Resolutions, for approval of the two Change Orders and authorization to solicit and receive Requests for Proposals for Architectural Services and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3-40 OF CHAPTER 3, ANIMALS AND FOWL, OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO INCLUDE "HANDLER" IN SUBSECTIONS (B) AND (C); PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL AID IN FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE CITY OF SEGUIN, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL AID IN FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE CITY OF NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
