END OF CONSENT AGENDA 17. Consideration on appointments to fill the vacancies on: Kelli McNair was appointed to the Main Street Advisory Board, and Noemi Govea was appointed to the Minority Tourism Development Board. 18. Public Hearing to receive comments for and asainst amending the San Marcos City Code by amending Chapter 14, Article 1, Section 14.006 and Chapter 74, Article 2, Division 3, Section 74.088 (c) (1) of the San Marcos City Code and Chapter 1, Article 3, Division 1, Section 1.3.1.1 of Subchapter B — City Land Development Code; providing for the waiver of certain fees for non - profit and governmental entities; and consider an ordinance on the first of three readings. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:04 p.m. There were no public comments, and the Public Hearing was closed at 8:04 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Thomaides, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the ordinance on the first of three readings. The motion carried unanimously. 19. Public Hearing to receive comment for and asainst an amendment to the future land use map from "LDR" Low Density Residential to "MDR" Medium Density Residential for Lot 15, Block 3, Victory Gardens, located at 606 and 608 McArthur, and to amend the official zoning map of the city by rezoning this tract from "SF- 4.5" Sinile Family to "DR" Duplex Restricted Residential, and consider adoption of Zoning Ordinance 2008 -12. Public Hearing to receive comments for and asainst the rezoning of a 5.4 -acre tract, also known as Lot 2 -A of the replat of Stage Coach Professional Center, Section 2, located at the corner of Hunter Road and Stagecoach Trail from "CC" Community Commercial and "GC" General Commercial Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:23 p.m. There were no public comments, and the Public Hearing was closed at 8:23 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2008 -13, as previously captioned.
