Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak for or against the annexation. No one did, so Mayor Morris closed the public hearing. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL FOR PART OF LOT 1, BLOCK 3 OF THE D. S. COMBS ADDITION, BEING A PART OF FARM LOT NO. THIRTEEN (13) OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 505 THROUGH 507 WEST SAN ANTONIO STREET, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Hernandez moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A PART OF LOT 1, BLOCK 3, D. S. COMBS ADDITION, BEING A PART OF FARM LOT NO. THIRTEEN (13) OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 505 THROUGH 507 WEST SAN ANTONIO STREET, FROM "M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "OP" (OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
