Project Management <br /> 1. Project Management and QA/QC: This task consists of effort associated with project <br /> administration, project planning, coordination with City staff, coordination and supervision of <br /> the project team including subconsultants, and quality management so that project milestones <br /> and deliverables meet schedule and budget constraints. A Project Work Plan, Project Schedule, <br /> and QA/QC Plan will be developed at the beginning of the project and refined throughout the <br /> project life as needed. <br /> 2. Kick-off Meetings: A kick-off meeting will occur with the City of San Marcos to initiate the <br /> project and discuss project expectations, communication, schedule, and any other <br /> administrative items necessary to initiate the project. LAN will also coordinate a project team <br /> kick-off meeting which will include all subcontractors. <br /> B. Data Collection <br /> 1. Geotechnical Investigations to support design of retaining walls and bridges. <br /> 2. Environmental Services including: <br /> a. Section 404 Permit Compliance <br /> b. Service provided to assist USACE consultation with the USFWS under section 7 of the <br /> Endangered Species Act <br /> c. Coordination with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to obtain a Marl, Sand, <br /> Gravel, Shell, and Mudshell Permit <br /> d. Follow-up Archeological Investigations <br /> e. FEMA Environmental Compliance <br /> f TWDB Environmental Clearance <br /> C. Meetings <br /> 1. Project Coordination Meetings <br /> 2. Project Review Meetings <br /> 3. Utility Coordination Meetings <br /> D. Construction Document Development(60/90/99/100%Milestones) <br /> 1. Perform engineering analyses and develop construction drawings, cost estimates, and <br /> specifications for the following: <br />
