1.8.4 Prepare a technical memorandum outlining the results of this task and Task 8 for review <br />by the City. The technical memorandum will provide tabular listings of the pipe segments <br />cleaned during this operation, as well as any defects noted during this operation.. The Consultant <br />will provide the City with both hardcopy and electronic formats (Word, pdf) of this <br />memorandum. <br />1.9 TASK 8 -SANITARY SEWER MAIN INTERNAL TELEVISION INSPECTION <br />The Consultant will: <br />1.9.1 Conduct internal TV inspection, using closed circuit color television equipment, of the <br />recommended sewer lines for leak evaluation and location of buried manholes. The Consultant <br />will provide the City's representative with a listing of the sanitary sewer main internal inspection <br />candidates for its approval before the operation begins. The Consultant will record the TV <br />inspection on videotapes and DVDs. <br />1.9.2 Perform concurrent dyed water flooding with television inspection to verify locations of <br />mainline defects. The Consultant will utilize field inspection log sheets to document problems <br />and defects discovered during inspection. The Consultant will clean the sanitary sewer main in <br />accordance with the standard NASSCO specifications for sewer main inspection. When <br />obstructions are encountered, the Consultant will attempt to televise the sewer line from both <br />upstream and downstream manholes. <br />1.9.3 Televise approximately 5% of the total footage of sewer lines in the study area. The <br />locations of noted defects will be within the specified accuracy range of the footage counter as <br />published by the manufacturer of the counter. <br />1.9.4 Prepare a technical memorandum outlining the results of this task and Task 7 for review <br />by the City. The technical memorandum will provide tabular and graphical listings of the pipe <br />segments inspected during this operation, as well as any defects noted during this operation. The <br />Consultant will also provide the City with videotapes, DVDs, and inspection data sheets. <br />1.10 TASK 9 -PUBLIC RELATIONS <br />The Consultant will: <br />1.10.1 After the City's approval, provide information to the general public in order to minimize <br />resident questions and complaints. <br />1.10.2 Develop a notification system for field tasks including, but not limited to: <br />a) Door hangers for smoke testing; <br />b) Prepare for and attend a maximum of four community meetings with concerned <br />citizens regarding the Project; <br />c) Develop public relations letters and other documents; <br />GSWW, Inc.
