<br />PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CITY CHARTER <br />SECTION 7.06--Powers and duties of the planning commission. <br /> <br />NOW READS: <br /> <br />Planning commission shall have the power and be required to: <br /> <br />(1) Submit recommendations and observations to the city council <br />all proposals including a determination of: <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />(a) Compliance with the master plan and <br />(b) Environmental impact statements; <br /> <br />(2) Hold an annual public hearing to review the master plan; <br /> <br />(3) Submit at least annually to the city council and the zoning <br />commission not less than one hundred twenty (l20) days prior to <br />the beginning of the fiscal year, a list of recommended changes, <br />if any, in the master plan; <br /> <br />(4) Review all plans for platting and subdividing of land within <br />city and within adjacent areas as permitted by law; <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />(5) Hold an annual <br />ordinance; <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />hearing <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />review <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />subdivision <br /> <br />(6) Submit annually to the city council not less than one hundred <br />twenty (120) days prior to the beginning of the fiscal year, a <br />list of reco~mended capital improvements found necessary or <br />desirable; and <br /> <br />(7) Request, respond and receive from the zoning commission <br />recommendations or determinations on any proposal. <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />REVISE TO READ: <br /> <br />The planning commission shall have the power and be required to: <br /> <br />(1) Submit recommendations and observations to the city council <br />all proposals which include a determination of: <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />(a) Compliance with the master plan, and <br />(b) Environmental impact statements; <br /> <br />(2) Perform <br />of the <br />conduct <br />review; <br />prior to <br />changes, <br /> <br />an ongoing review of the master plan, with each element <br />plan being reviewed at least once each three (3) years; <br />an annual public hearing in connection with this <br />and submit not less than one hundred twentv (120) days <br />the beginning of the fiscal year, a list of recommended <br />if any, in the master plan~ <br /> <br />(3) Review all plans for platting and subdividing of land within <br />city and within adlacent areas as permitted by law; <br /> <br />the <br />
