TX-DOT's Texas Enhancement Program <br />Dear Mayor. <br />We support the Cite of San Marcos aY^p ication to the Texas Transportation Enhancement <br />program entitled "6t}v of San Marcos Cmss-Town Pathway - A Bicycle and Pedestrian <br />Transportation Corridor." <br />This new ADD compliant bicycle and pedestrian pathway along the San Marcos Ricer <br />will link the existing City of San Marcos Visitor's Center with the planned. Texas State <br />University Visitor's Center and t ,eir :one mile Bikeway. The Cross-ToN n Pathway will <br />provide a transportation route for zn public to access all parts of the city and university <br />via bicycle and pedestrian paths, ;educe vehicular traffic, improve bicycle 6afety and <br />?{I-pert eco-tourism. <br />'We appreciate the -work and planning the city is putting- into this effort.
