Phillips and others. <br />Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an <br />appointment to the Main Street Advisory Board (Jim Gandy, <br />Executive Director of Chamber of Commerce's designee). Mr. Hart <br />moved to appoint Marian Oles to fill the vacancy as the designee <br />of Jim Gandy and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four <br />appointments to the Ethics Review Commission. On May 29, 1990 <br />the City Council appointed Lorenzo Rodriguez, Juanita Colon, <br />Duane Thomason and Karl Brown to serve on the Ethics Review <br />Commission. The City Council had been incorrectly advised that <br />Anna Farr was not eligible to be reappointed and had not been <br />considered for reappointment at the May 29 Meeting. When it was <br />determined Anna Farr was eligible for reappointment and wished to <br />be reappointed, Mayor Morris directed reconsideration of the <br />appointments at this meeting. Mr. Karl Brown had been nominated <br />for appointment at the May 29 meeting by Ms. Ki ssler, and Ms. <br />Kissler was not present at this meeting. The Council directed <br />the term of Anna Farr continue until Ms. Kissler is present (July <br />9 Regular Meeting) to either nominate Mrs. Farr for reappointment <br />or nominate Karl Brown for appointment. Mr. -Plummer moved to <br />appoint Lorenzo Rodriguez, Juanita Colon and Duane Thomason and <br />Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration the appeal of Manuel <br />Ramirez from the decision of the Zoning Commission made April 3, <br />1990 to deny a specific use permit for on-premise consumption of <br />Beer and Wine at 711 Bugg Lane (City Council public hearing held <br />May 14, 1990). Mayor Morris stated the City Secretary had been <br />advised by Staff Mr. Ramirez had withdrawn his request. Mr. <br />Hernandez moved to table this matter and Mr. Hart seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an <br />Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br />* Mr. Guerra and Ms. Kissler were not present at this meeting. <br />
