Mayor Morris stated we need <br />revision to our Solicitation Ordinance and a No Smoking Ordinance. <br />It was consensus of Council to prohibit smoking in public buildings <br />only. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced the City Council's Report. (1) Mr. Moore <br />stated he attended the Texas APA Meeting last week in Fort Worth, <br />and that San Marcos was recognized as a sponsor city. He stated <br />Henry Cisneros addressed a number of significant issues, and that he <br />was making arrangements to get a copy of the tape so he could share <br />it with others in the community. (2) Mayor Morris stated she and <br />Ms. Kissler were on the TML Resolutions Committee, and that she <br />would like the Council to state their positions on some of the <br />Resolutions at the next Council Meeting (Mr. Plummer left the <br />meeting at 9:20 p.m.). <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to Article <br />6252-17, sections 2(e), (f) and (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss pending <br />litigation (GBRA vs. city of Lytle, Et AI; Johnny Brady vs. Wayne <br />Sneed; Cecil Burleson vs. City of San Marcos, Et AI), contemplated <br />litigation; purchase of real property, lease of real property; and <br />evaluation of public employees (City Manager, City Secretary, <br />Municipal Court Judge), respectively. Mr. Guerra moved to adjourn <br />into Executive Session at 9:21 p.m. and Ms. Kissler seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Hernandez left the meeting at <br />12:10 a.m.). <br /> <br />Mr. Moore moved to reconvene at 12:40 a.m. and Mr. Guerra seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:41 a.m. on motion made by Mr. Guerra and <br /> <br />seconded by Mr. Moore.
