Docusign Envelope ID: DA4FA5BF-D9AF-4543-AD49-B8F98E2726F6 <br /> Appendix A-Basis of Design <br /> I`ft�d } <br /> FACILITY PROPERTY BOUNDARY MAP <br /> NtOPMEU"IMJTT TNEATEMNT STRucn ES AND WWNOS <br /> O PROP EO[AMMSMLOCATION <br /> LMIIO$NOT IN DMOM AGPZU*W — <br /> 2�� MUOSNIOrmopN [Ewe \ <br /> Y 0 Yp Jr. <br /> US EMI <br /> 1.3 Project Objectives <br /> The selected DB firm is expected to provide services as described in the scope of work for the purpose <br /> of meeting the following project objectives. <br /> • Develop a regional wastewater treatment facility with an initial phase capable of treating an <br /> ADF of at least 2.0 MGD with an anticipated final phase capable of treating an ultimate ADF of <br /> 8.0 MGD.Each phase is expected to accommodate a peaking factor of 3.2 consistent with the <br /> City's wastewater master plan; <br /> • Implement a phased approach that may require temporarily pumping and hauling untreated <br /> wastewater flows by the City and/or construction of a temporary package wastewater <br /> treatment plant by the DB; <br /> • Construct a facility that is able to consistently and reliably meet all TPDES discharge permit <br /> requirements; and, <br /> • Provide the best value to the City in all aspects of project delivery. <br /> 1.4 Project Budget and Funding <br /> The City has currently estimated the proposed total project budget to be approximately$75 million <br /> including all planning,acquisition,design,and construction services.This figure does not include the <br /> City's other Project costs,such as professional advisory services,property or access rights,site <br /> investigations,environmental studies,certain governmental approvals,etc. <br /> Funding for this project will include a mixture of internal City budget funds,payments from <br /> developers based on the contractual LUE schedule,and may potentially include state and or federal <br /> �V 1-2 <br /> ARDURRA <br />
