G. <br />Phillips and others. <br />Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br />LOT 1, BLOCK 1 OF THE INTERNATIONAL ELECTRIC CORPORATION <br />ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED <br />AT 2809 IH35 SOUTH, FROM "I" (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT) TO "LI" <br />(LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mayor <br />Morris closed the public hearing. Mr. Moore moved for adoption of <br />the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING <br />7.881 ACRES, LOCATED AT 1612 AQUARENA SPRINGS, FROM "C" <br />(COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) AND "M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND <br />NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "MF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY <br />DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak for or against the zoning amendment. No one did, so Mayor <br />Morris closed the public hearing.
