He stated he <br />supports the disannexation. 4) Jeff Sones stated he wished to speak on <br />Item #7, regarding the public hearing on disannexation. He stated the way <br />the disannexation boundary lines are drawn, his and Mr. Teeter's <br />properties are divided between Subareas E and F. He encouraged the <br />Council to include both his and Mr. Teeter's properties in Subarea F so <br />they can be disannexed. 5) Michael willis stated he wished to speak on <br />Item #22, regarding an Ordinance on third and final reading. He asked the <br />Council to look at his wastewater bill. He stated since he is not on City <br />water, he is charged the highest rate. He sated his wastewater bill <br />exceeds his electric bill. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration five appointments to the <br />Human Services Advisory Board. Ms. Narvaiz moved to reappoint Brandi <br />Sorenson, Mr. Thomaides moved to appoint Anita Reyes and Mr. Mihalkanin <br />moved to appoint Tom Rowe, which passed unanimously. The remaining <br />appointments will be rescheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration three appointments to the <br />Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Council agreed by consensus to bring <br />these appointments back at the next Regular Council Meeting scheduled for <br />September 22, 2003. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration four appointments to the <br />Arts Commission. Mr. Mihalkanin moved to reappoint Carmen Imel, Mayor <br />Habingreither moved to appoint Linda Scott and Mr. Diaz moved to appoint <br />Kay Posey, which passed unanimously.
