Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT¡ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Narvaiz seconded the motion. Ms. Narvaiz moved to amend Recitals 3., Part 1 and Part 2 by adding the name of John A. Diaz into the blanks, Mr. Thomaides seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of Resolution. The Council removed Items #22, adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, Items #24, #25, #30 and #31, adoption of Resolutions, to be considered separately.
