Call to Order <br />Present <br />Jim Pendergast, Chair <br />Arturo Benavides <br />Hilda Cooks <br />Ani Yazedjian Hensleigh <br />Michael Occhialini <br />Not present <br />David Brown <br />Rebecca Conley <br />• City Staff <br />Rick Menchaca, City Manager <br />Sherry Mashburn, City Clerk <br />Upon a quorum, present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos Sunset Advisory Commission <br />was called to order at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 in the San Marcos City Hall <br />Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, <br />2. Approve minutes from the June 5, 2009 meeting. <br />Upon a motion made by Commissioner Benavides and seconded by Commissioner Cooks, the <br />Sunset Advisory Commission voted five (5) for and note (0) opposed to accept the minutes as <br />amended. The motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Discuss Board/ Commission meetings each person has attended <br />Commissioner Cook distributed review worksheets for the Animal Shelter Board and Library <br />Board. Chair Pendergast reported that Commissioner Conley has attended all her liaison <br />meetings even though she has missed four out of five Sunset Commission meetings. He noted <br />that the time set for the Sunset Commission makes it impossible for her to attend. <br />4. Review Meeting Tracking Sheet. <br />Staff was directed to alphabetize the tracking sheet, add those Boards that have been <br />inadvertently omitted, and keep the tracking sheet current. Chair Pendergast provided his <br />updated copy for transcription. <br />5. Discuss Quarterly and Annual Board /Commission Reports <br />
