Call to Order <br />Present <br />Jim Pendergast, Chair <br />Hilda Cook <br />Ani Yazedjian Hensleigh <br />Michael Occhialini <br />Not presen t <br />David Brown, Vice Chairman <br />Arturo Benavides <br />Rebecca Conley <br />City Staff • <br />Stephanie Reyes, Asst. to the City Manager <br />Shelley Goodwin, Deputy City Clerk <br />Upon a quorum, present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos Sunset Advisory <br />Commission was called to order at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2009 in the San <br />Marcos City Hall Conference Room, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />2. Approve minutes from the September 4 2009 meeting <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Commissioner Cook and seconded by <br />Commissioner Hensleigh, the Sunset Advisory Commission voted four (4) for and none <br />(0) opposed to accept the minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously. <br />3. Discuss Board/ Commissions who oversee hotel Occupancy Tax monies and the <br />Economic Development San Marcos Board <br />The Commission wants to consider a review process of all Board and Commission that <br />receive Hot Tax, but feels this should be done when they have more members in <br />attendance and more time to discuss the layout. <br />4. Review Meeting Tracking Sheet and Discuss Board/ Commission Meetings each <br />person has attended <br />The Commission reviewed and updated the Meeting Tracking Sheet. <br />• <br />
