Review, discuss and provide direction regarding suggestions and recommendations <br />for Board /Commission changes <br />The Commission agreed by consensus to bring this discussion back at the next meeting <br />and to only review the Boards and Commission that the Commission is recommending <br />sunsetting. <br />6. Discuss Idea for Neighborhood Commission <br />The pros and cons of recommending the formation of a neighborhood commission were <br />discussed and further action on the question tabled. <br />7. Discuss Board/ Commission Attendance Policy <br />Michael Cosentino, City Attorney, provided his legal opinion regarding attendance <br />policy. The consensus of the Commission was to not to act on this issue. <br />8. Set Next Meeting Date and Time: Suggested Dates Wednesday September 23 2009• <br />Monday, September 28 2009• or Tuesday September 29 2009 at 11.30 a.m. <br />The Commission agreed by consensus to hold the next two meetings on Friday, <br />September 25, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. and October 2, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. <br />9. Other Business <br />The Commission request a draft of the report is brought to the Commission at their next <br />• meeting. <br />10. Adi ourn <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Commissioner Occhialini and a second by <br />Commissioner Hensleigh, the Sunset Advisory Commission voted four (4) for and none <br />(0) opposed, adjourn at 4:25 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2009 in the San Marcos <br />City Hall Conference Room, 630 E.
