must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 15.2 of this Agreement. The approval of <br />the City's governing body is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $50,000.00. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City will: <br />2.1 Designate Octavio Garza, P.E. as the City's Project Manager and authorized <br />representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will examine <br />the documents and information submitted by the Engineer and promptly render responses to the <br />Engineer on issues requiring a decision by the City. <br />2.2 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies of <br />official City design standards and construction standards, and other data and information in the <br />City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. In addition, the City will <br />provide the Engineer with electronic and paper record drawings and documents of the Project, if <br />available, as prepared by the City's former consultant. <br />2.3 Assist the Engineer with unit prices for construction if the unit cost information is <br />available to the City. <br />2.4 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Engineer to enter public and <br />private property as required for the Engineer to perform its services under this Agreement. <br />2.5 Provide the Engineer with the names and contact information of the various utility <br />companies that serve the City of San Marcos area, specifically within the proposed Project area <br />and assist in coordinating activities with City owned utilities. <br />2.6 Provide 2-foot contour topographical data for delineation of the watershed so that the <br />Engineer can evaluate the watershed delineation and storm drain system requirements and review <br />proposed design. <br />2.7 Bear all costs incidental to this Article. <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the City of all elements of <br />the Project designed or specified by the Engineer. <br />HNTB Agreement -Hutchison Drainage <br />11 <br />
