1.0.7 Engineer will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The Engineer will <br />advise the City of data and information the Engineer needs to perform its services and the <br />Engineer will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient times to assemble this data <br />and information. <br />1.1 TASK 1 -PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />It is understood by both the City and the Engineer that the proposed improvements will be <br />designed based on the current drainage design as represented in the existing 60% complete plans <br />and as set forth in this Agreement. The Engineer understands that it will review the existing <br />Preliminary Engineering Report ("PER") and design documents, evaluate both for accuracy and <br />conformance with design criteria, and complete the design. The Engineer will provide 75% and <br />100% plans for review and comment by the City for construction incorporating the comments <br />provided. The Engineer will: <br />1.1.1 Management & Administration. Perform general management and administration duties <br />required to administer the Project. These tasks include: <br />a) General Coordination and Management: General correspondence with the CITY, <br />monitor activities and progress, prepare monthly progress reports and invoices, <br />update schedule. <br />b) Record keeping and file management <br />1.1.2 Project Meetings. Attend the following meetings during the course of the Project: <br />a) Attend a kickoff meeting to meet with City staff (Water/Wastewater, <br />Streets/Drainage, Parks) to discuss design needs, maintenance issues, related <br />Capital Improvement Projects ("CIP"), etc. so that elements essential to the <br />Project will be incorporated into the design;. <br />b) Attend two coordination meetings with the City's representative; <br />c) Attend a 75% complete and 100% complete design review meeting; <br />d) Attend a utility coordination meeting at 75% complete design phase; <br />e) Attend an informal traffic control meeting (after 75% complete) <br />f) Pre-Bid Conference <br />1.1.3 4uality Assurance /Quality Control. Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control of <br />all work products. <br />1.1.4 Assemble a Project team comprised of the City's representatives and the Engineer's <br />representatives. The Engineer will meet with the Project team to set the design and production <br />schedule and parameters for all subsequent work, to verify the components within which all <br />Project participants must perform, and to identify all parties and significant deadlines involved in <br />the comprehensive schedule strategy.
