based on proposed Project quantities and unit bid prices at each of the project milestone <br />deliverable dates and other information all as required in Article 3 of this Agreement. The <br />Engineer will include a detailed quantity take-off of the existing drawings, as well as all <br />revisions and new items. In addition, the Engineer will develop pay items in coordination with <br />the construction documents identified above. The Engineer will provide a CCO on the basis of <br />experience and qualifications as a practitioner of its profession and the Engineer does not <br />guarantee that proposals, bids, or actual Project costs will not vary from its cost estimates or that <br />actual schedules will not vary from the Engineer's projected schedules. <br />1.4.5 City Reviews. Provide the City three sets of 11" x 17" drawings and three project <br />manuals for review at the 75% complete and 100% complete milestones. Anticipated review <br />time is 14 calendar days for each review. <br />1.4.6 Public Involvement. Work with downtown business leaders to help them understand the <br />Project and for them to communicate the needs of the Downtown Business District. The <br />Engineer will participate in meetings with business owners and may be required to provide <br />graphics and a presentation, prepare summary notes, and incorporate these elements into the <br />construction plans. The Engineer will also provide a notice of construction impacts prior to <br />construction, including phasing and scheduling. <br />1.4.7 Environmental Services/Right-of Way Acquisition. The Engineer will not provide <br />historical, archeological, environmental, right-of--way or easement acquisition services under this <br />Agreement unless authorized as an additional service by the City. <br />1.5 TASK 5 -BIDDING <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.5.1 Be responsible for printing and binding of the bid documents. <br />1.5.2 Assist the City in the distribution of the bid documents to prospective bidders and to plan <br />rooms and the issuance of addenda (if any) following City's prior approval. <br />1.5.3 Assist the City in obtaining bids, tabulating bids, preparing bid tabulation forms, and in <br />awarding the contract for construction following the City's approval of the construction contract <br />documents and of the latest detailed final cost estimate of the Project. <br />1.5.4 Assist the City in reviewing the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, financial <br />statements of bidders, lists of bidders' proposed subcontractors, and all other documents required <br />to be submitted with the bids. <br />1.5.5 Make a written recommendation to the City regarding award of bid and assist the City in <br />conducting apre-bid conference and answer all questions of prospective or potential bidders and <br />City's staff and make all necessary clarifications and interpretations of the construction contract <br />HNTB Agreement -Hutchison Drainage <br />6 <br />
