2) Aesthetic planting design and selection, water quality plant selection and <br />design, locating and calling out of vegetation types and sizes, fine grading <br />indicating the proposed finish grading of landscape planting areas, and <br />irrigation plans including mainline layouts, lateral layouts, and controller <br />locations. <br />1.4 TASK 4 -ENGINEERING DESIGN <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.4.1 Completion of Construction plans. Complete the design of the 60% complete <br />construction drawings for the drainage improvements based on City of Austin design criteria. <br />The drawings will include (required activities/status identified in parenthesis): <br />a) City of San Marcos cover sheet (update and complete - COSM <br />standard) <br />b) General notes (update and complete - COSM standard); <br />c) Project layout with staging and storage area locations (update and <br />complete); <br />d) Watershed and storm drain system map (review, update, and complete); <br />e) Hydraulic calculations (review, update, and complete); <br />f) Storm drain plan and profile sheets - 1"=20' scale, 11" X <br />(review, update, and complete); <br />g) Storm drain outfall plan and details (review, update, and complete), <br />including bank or channel stabilization; <br />h) Utility relocation plans for water utilities (not started); <br />i) City of Austin standard details (review, update, and complete); <br />j) Non-standard details (not started); <br />k) Traffic control notes (not started); <br />1) Construction phasing plan (review, update, and complete); <br />m) Traffic control plans (review, update, and complete); <br />n) Traffic control details (review, update, and complete); <br />o) Storm water pollution prevention plan (not started); <br />p) Erosion and sedimentation control details (not started); <br />q) Water Quality Ponds (not started): <br />17" <br />not <br />1.4.2 Prepare plans on 11" x 17" sheets for interim reviews. Some improvements and tasks <br />listed above may be incorporated into the same sheets in order to create efficiency and <br />readability of the drawing set. Design criteria will be City of Austin criteria for drainage design, <br />trench repair, and details. <br />1.4.3 Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Develop technical specifications for <br />the work performed on the project using the City of Austin standard specifications. Additional <br />special provisions and special specifications will be created when required to guide the work. <br />1.4.4 Quantities & Construction Cost Opinion.
