The ALP is a set of drawings that details the Airport's current <br />infrastructure and proposed development plans as well as the airspace and <br />properties surrounding the airport. The ALP is reviewed and conditionally approved <br />by the FAA and TxDOT Aviation. The ALP created as part of this project complies <br />with FAA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) 2.00 - Standard Operating Procedure <br />for FAA Review and Approval of Airport Layout Plans. <br />SWOT ANALYSIS <br />At the beginning of the AMP process a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and <br />Threats (SWOT) analysis was completed to identify key items that needed to be <br />considered during the AMP process. The SWOT analysis was completed with input <br />from numerous stakeholders including: <br />• City of San Marcos <br />• Airport Advisory Commission <br />• Greater San Marcos Partnership <br />Introduction Chapter <br />October 2020 <br />+ TxDOT Aviation <br />+ Texas Aviation Partners <br />+ Airport Tenants <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
