The tem1S of current voting members of the Convention and Visitors <br />Bureau Board will be deemed to end as of September 30, 2003, regardless of their appointment <br />date or the term of office to which they were appointed. New appointments to positions as voting <br />members on the Board (as the composition of the Board is amended by this ordinance) will <br />decide their terms of office by drawing lots, with four drawing terms of three years, three <br />drawing terms of two years, and three drawing terms of one year. Those drawing terms of office <br />of one or two years will not have their initial term count as a term of office under City Code Sec. <br />2.068. A current voting member of the Board may be considered for reappointment as a voting <br />member of the Board if he or she meets the representational criteria for a voting Board member <br />as amended by this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held <br />to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br />ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br /> <br />2 <br />
