MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by <br />Councilmember Thomaides, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, <br />for adoption of Ordinance 2008-21 on emergency. The motion carried unanimously. <br />27. Consider adoption of Ordinance 2008-22, amending the city's 2007-2008 <br />budget to fund the sales tax rebate for Prime Outlets at San Marcos; and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by <br />Councilmember Bose, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, for <br />adoption of Ordinance 2008-22 on emergency. The motion carried unanimously. <br />28. Consider adoption on third and final reading of Ordinance 2008-23, setting <br />the rate for once per week collection of residential solid waste and recyclable <br />materials at $13.98 per month; and including procedural provisions. <br />MOTION: Upon motion made by Mayor Narvaiz and a second by Councilmember <br />Guerrero, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to postpone the <br />adoption of Ordinance 2008-23 until after the Item 34. The motion carried unanimously. <br />After Item 34. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />remove from the table discussion on Ordinance 2008-23. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Guerrero and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, for <br />adoption of Ordinance 2008-232 on third and final reading. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />29. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-18, adopted May 6, 2008, amending the land <br />use map from Low Density Residential (LDR) to Public (P), fora 0.4775 acre, more <br />or less, tract of land located at 108 Eastwood Street; and amending the official <br />zoning map of the city by rezoning said 0.4775 acre tract and a 0.5043 acre tract of <br />land, more or less, located at 117 Meiners, from Single-Family Residential District <br />(SF-6) to Public and Institutional (P); including procedural provisions. <br />Council declined reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-18. <br />30. Reconsideration of Ordinance 2008-19, adopted May 6, 2008, amending the <br />future land use map from Medium Density Residential/commercial (MDR/C) to <br />Commercial (C) for Lot 2 of the Gary Farm Subdivision, an approximately 10.86 <br />acre tract of land, located in the 2400 block of N.
