RESOLUTION NO. 2026-34R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, FILLING A VACANCY ON THE BOARD OF <br />DIRECTORS OF THE ALLIANCE REGIONAL WATER AUTHORITY <br />(ARWA); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The term of office for position No. 6 on the Alliance Regional Water Authority <br />board will expire on April 30, 2026, thus creating a vacancy to be filled. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council hereby appoints Jane Hughson to serve as the City's <br />representative in position No. 6 on the Board of Directors of the Alliance Regional <br />Water Authority for a term beginning on May 1, 2026 and expiring on April 30, 2029. <br />PART 2.
