If desired, the COG will have the opportunity to request changes to the indirect rate based on the <br />approval of a new indirect cost rate for the period of the contract term. TCEQ accepts an approval granted by the COG's Federal <br />Cognizant Agency or State Coordinating Agency, for a new indirect cost rate which is based on a recent, independently performed <br />audit that specifically examines and reports the indirect cost rate for the accounting period covered by the grant contract.
