Hixon Dear Ms. King: <br />San Antonio <br />Dan Allen Hughes, Jr. <br />Beeville <br /> Since the San Marcos Nature Center opened in 2000 <br />Texas Parks and <br />Margaret Martin <br />Boerne , <br />Wildlife Department staff have given several presentations and programs, <br />S. Reed Morian including two on hummingbirds by Mark Klym, a bird presentation by Mark <br />Houston <br />Lockwood, a snake program by Andy Price, a presentation on shells and <br />Lee M. Bass <br />Chairman-Emeritus fossils by Paul Hammerschmidt and an overview of the Amphibian Watch <br />y ' <br />Fort Worth Program by Marsha Reimer. Staff has also assisted with the set up of <br /> aquarium displays. Inland Fisheries Division staff located in San Marcos at <br />Carter P. Smith the A.E. Wood State Fish Hatchery and at the Texas Rivers Center are <br />Executive Director <br />interested in continuing our relationship with the Nature Center by assisting <br /> with the San Marcos Nature Center Summer Camps 2009. We are willing to <br /> provide tours of the A.E. Wood Fish Hatchery and the Texas Rivers Center <br /> and are willing to give presentations or coordinate with the Nature Center <br /> Staff on developing appropriate hands-on activities at each camp session on <br /> topics within our areas of expertise (fisheries and aquatic resources).
