It shall be unlawful for anv driver of any taxicab or for <br />• any who <br />ther person acting for the driver to seek or solicit patrons or passengers for any such taxicab by <br />word or sign while driving any such taxicab over, through or on any public street or public place of the <br />city. Drivers may solicit business when the taxicab is legally parked. <br />Sec. 90.129. Additional passengers. <br />(a) No driver shall permit any other person to occupy or ride in the taxicab, unless the person first <br />employing the taxicab shall consent to the acceptance of the additional passenger. Sec. 90.131. Service. <br />(a) ^ eee4e An operating permit holder shall maintain a central place of business and shall remain <br />open ftem 00 to 7.00 , "' en y + for the purpose of receiving calls and <br />dispatching cabs and shall offer taxi service: <br />LD on Sunday from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.; <br />f on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; <br />on Thursday from 7.00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.; <br />t4l on Friday and Saturday from 12:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. and from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. <br />(bi All calls for services inside the city during these hours shall be answered as soon as reasonably <br />possible. If the services cannot be rendered within a reasonable time, the holder shall notify the <br />prospective passenger how long it will be before the call can be answered and the reason for the delay. <br />Any holder who refuses to accept a call anywhere in the city during these hours when the holder has <br />available cabs, or who fails or refuses to provide high quality service, shall be deemed to violate this <br />article, and the violation shall be grounds for revocation of the eei4ifieate operating permit. <br />(lac) In addition to operating during the hours described in subsection (a), a mate an operating <br />permit holder may operate cabs during other hours at the holder's discretion. During the additional hours <br />of operation, the holder shall comply with all requirements of this article. <br />Sec. 90.132. Manifest. <br />Every driver of a vehicle operated pursuant to this article shall maintain a daily manifest upon which are <br />recorded all trips made each day, showing time and place of origin and destination of each trip and the <br />amount of fare. All completed manifests shall be returned to the designated agent of the holder of a <br />. an operating permit at the conclusion of each tour of <br />duty.
