<br />1.4 Payment or reimbursement will be made by the City for completed work only after <br />the work has been inspected and found to be satisfactorily completed by a representative <br />of the City. <br /> <br />1.5 Subrecipient agrees to qualify beneficiaries for grant funding as required under the <br />Income Limits guidelines as set forth by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development established and amended annually by HUD as found in the most recent <br />edition of "With Strings Attached'. Subrecipient agrees to obtain and verify documentation <br />of income eligibility of beneficiaries, or exemption from documentation as follows: <br /> <br />Household Income I Size Certifications substantiated with prior year's federal <br />income tax return, current social security benefit verification, or current Section 8 <br />Housing recipient verification. <br /> <br />Or <br />Subrecipient is exempt from documentation requirement due to servicing "Presumed <br />Clientele" as defined by 24 CFR 570.208 (a)(2). <br /> <br />Or <br />Subrecipient is exempt from documentation requirement due to "Nature and <br />Location" as defined by 24 CRF 570.208 (a)(2). <br /> <br />1.6 Subrecipient agrees to verify that at least 51 % of its qualified beneficiaries reside <br />in the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />1.7 Subrecipient will ensure that all work performed under this Agreement is permitted <br />and inspected by the City's Department of Planning and Development Services Building <br />Inspections Division, as applicable. If any work is performed on a residence by a <br />contractor, Subrecipient will ensure that the contractor is duly licensed under City <br />ordinances and State laws. <br /> <br />1.8 Sub recipient understands that it is solely responsible for meeting the terms and <br />conditions of this Agreement. If Subrecipient fails to properly perform or complete any of <br />the work specified in the Statement of Work, it will not receive grant funding for any work <br />that is found to be improperly performed or incomplete. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br /> <br />2.1 Subrecipient agrees to utilize the grant funds it receives under this Agreement to <br />perform the services identified in the Statement of Work for the entire term of the <br />Agreement and in compliance with all the terms and conditions specified in this Agreement. <br />Subrecipient, in providing the services hereunder, will be an independent contractor, and <br />not an agent, of the City. In consideration of the continued performance of the <br />Subrecipient's services, the City will make payments to the Sub recipient as provided in <br /> <br />2 <br />
