<br />55 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-34R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO MAKE <br />MUNICIPAL COURT A COURT OF RECORD, ENCOURAGING SUPPORT <br />FOR THE PROPOSED LEGISLATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, J.E. Younger, has <br />previously submitted the attached proposed legislation concerning a <br />Municipal Court of Record to Senator Barrientos at the request of <br />individual City Council members; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council <br />official action concerning the <br />there fore, <br /> <br />as a body desires to take formal and <br />same proposed legislation; now, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />~.1ARCOS , <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the proposed legislation <br />incorporated in this Resolution is approved. <br /> <br />attached <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />PART 2. That City staff members and officials are <br />encouraged to support the proposed legislation by all reasonable means. <br /> <br />PART 3.
