<br />SELECTION FLOW CHART <br /> <br />Determine number of units to be selected during competition in <br />accordance with Schedule for Community Rental Rehabilitation <br />Funds. 1 1 <br /> <br />Rank eligible projects according to housing impact.2 <br />~ <br />Select all projects with units occupied by very low income <br />families for compliance with contract requirements.s <br />,/,- <br />Select all other projects with housing impacts exceeding minimum <br />threshold. 4 t <br /> <br />Eliminate lowest ranked one bedroom and efficiency units until <br />units with two bedrooms or more exceed 70% cumulatively. <br />t <br />Eliminate lowest ranked two bedroom units until units with three <br />or more bedrooms exceed 15% cumulatively. <br /> <br />Eliminate lowest ranked uniti when owner declines to make unit <br />initially available to lower income families until such units are <br />less than 30% cumulatively.s J <br /> <br />Re-evaluate owners who fail to supply necessary closing <br />documentation and provide assistance as necessary.s <br />.t <br />If number of units selected fails to meet schedule for CoIDUlitting <br />Rental Rehabilitation Funds, conduct supplemental competition. <br /> <br />NOTES: <br />1. Exhibit C of the City's TRRP contract with TDCA. <br />2. Housing impact defined as expenditure of rehabilitation funds in order <br />to benefit the greatest number of families and individuals i-Thile <br />assuring that expenditures achieve minimum housing standards which can <br />rea~onably be expected to be maintained over the term of the loan <br />agreement. <br />Very low income defined as 50% of the SMSA 1980 median family income <br />of $30,500 requiring $600 or more of rehabilitation funds which <br />results. <br />Minimum threshold defined as a proposal resulting in no remaining code <br />violations or major housing systems in danger of failure. <br />Lower income defined as 80% of the SMSA 1980 median family income of <br />$30,500. <br />Required documentation to include evidence of existing matching funds <br />or an approved loan for such funds. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br />
