<br />160 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-91R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN <br />TEXAS FOR THE HOLDING OF <br />1987; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT <br />MARCOS, AND HAYS COUNTY, <br />AN ELECTION ON AUGUST 8, <br />OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE <br />SAID CITY AND DECLARING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby <br />finds and determines that it is in the best interest of said City for <br />the City to cooperate with Hays County in the holding of a <br />special city election on August 8, 1987; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Hays County is willing to participate in the <br />holding of a joint election on that date; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />COUNCI L OF <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That the Joint Election Agreement between the City of San <br />Marcos, Texas and Hays County for the holding of a special city <br />election on August 8,1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, is hereby <br />approved in all respects. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of said City, J.E. Younger, is hereby <br />authorized to execute said Joint Election Agreement on behalf of the <br />City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 3.
