M. VERAMENDI <br />SURVEY NO.1 IN HAYS COUNTY AND BEING OUT OF <br />THAT 150.82 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED BY HANNO GUENTHER, <br />TRUSTEE TO RICHARD L. BURDICK, BY DEED DATED DECEMBER 10, <br />1969, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 234, PAGE 99 AND BEING OUT OF <br />THAT SAME TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED BY THERMON INDUSTRIES TO <br />RICHARD L. BURDICK, ET AL BY DEEDS RECORDED IN VOLUME 241, <br />PAGE 884 AND VOLUME 247, PAGE 483 OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />DEED RECORDS LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF CLOVIS <br />BARKER ROAD FROH "R-l" (SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) <br />TO "P" (PUBLIC USE DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTI VE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />186 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1987-106 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 7,1987 the Zoning Commission of the City of <br />San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change <br />the zoning from "R-l" (Single Family Dwelling District) to "p" (Public <br />Use District) of a survey of a 15 acre tract of land in the J.M. <br />Veramendi League Survey No.1 to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, <br />Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said <br />Commission did, on July 7,1987, consider said <br />and voted to approve the same and has recommended <br />request be approved by the City Council <br />City; and, <br /> <br />date, said <br />request <br />that such <br />of said <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />August, 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />7th <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos <br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is presently <br />"R-l" (Single Family D\Alelling District) be be rezoned "P" (Public Use <br />District) : <br /> <br />FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION OF A SURVEY OF A 15 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN <br />THE J. M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO.1 IN HAYS COUNTY AND BEING OUT OF <br />THAT 150.82 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED BY HANNO GUENTHER, <br />TRUSTEE TO RICHARD L. BURDICK, BY DEED DATED DECEMBER 10, 1969, <br />AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 234, PAGE 99 AND BEING OUT OF THAT SAME <br />TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED BY THERMON INDUSTRIES TO RICHARD L. <br />BURDICK, ET AL BY DEEDS RECORDED IN VOLUME 241, PAGE 884 AND <br />VOLUME 247, PAGE 483 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS <br /> <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin found for the east corner of the herein <br />described tract, said iron pin bears S44 degrees 27E 1504.20 <br />feet from a corner post for the north corner of the 150.82 acre <br />tract and an interior corner of Municipal Airport Subdivision as <br />recorded in Volume 163, Page 161 of the Hays County Deed Records <br />and is on the southwest line of the Mamie Puls tract as recorded <br />in Volume Z, Page III of the Hays County Deed Records; <br /> <br />THENCE leaving the southwest PuIs line and the northeast line of <br />the 150.82 acre tract S45 degrees 47W 1603.97 feet to an iron <br />pin set for the south corner of this tract on the northeast line <br />of a proposed roadway; <br /> <br />THENCE N 44 degrees l3W 300.00 feet with the northeast line of a <br />proposed roadway to a point for the west corner of this tract; <br /> <br />THENCE leaving the northeast line of the proposed roadway N45 <br />degrees 47E 1125.62 feet to a point for an interior corner of <br />this tract; <br />
