<br />announcements will include a statement regarding the City's <br />non-discriminatin policy. <br /> <br />Additional steps in dissemination may be taken from time to time by the <br />Affirmative Action Officer or other appropriate officials. <br /> <br />CHAPTER 17 <br /> <br />MONITORING PERFORMANCE <br /> <br />Annually, the Affirmative Action Officer will prepare an Affirmative <br />Action Report for submission to the City Manager. In addition to a <br />narrative describing Affirmative Action progress, these reports will <br />include statistics regarding new hires, terminations, and promotions <br />categorized by race, ethnic group and sex. <br /> <br />The Commission for Minorities will review all of the above records at <br />least annually to assure compliance with all aspects of this Plan and <br />prepare an annual report for the Mayor and Council regarding compliance <br />with the Plan and progress towards it objectives. The annual report <br />will include recommendations for any change to improve the program. <br /> <br />-15- <br />
