specifications. <br />1.5.31 Prior to the end of the one year warranty period, review the completed Project with the <br />City and the Contractor and have all deficient items corrected. The extent of the duties, <br />responsibilities and limitations of authority of the Engineer as the City's representative during <br />construction will not be modified or extended after the construction contract documents have <br />been authorized by the City to be competitively bid without written consent of the City and the <br />Engineer and with notice to the Contractor. <br />1.6 ADDITIONAL SERVICES/CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />1.6.1 Since the Engineer's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor <br />deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Engineer for additional <br />services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this <br />Agreement. The Engineer will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's <br />authorization before initiating any additional services. The following items are specifically <br />considered to be additional services and are subject to the provisions of this Subsection: <br />a) Roadway design does not include rehabilitation or reconstruction of Sessom beyond <br />spot repair; <br />b) Retaining wall design; <br />c) Field Inspection Construction services are limited to Items referenced under Section <br />1.5. <br />d) Environmental services not included in this agreement are as listed below: <br />1) Environmental services are based on a Categorical Exclusion, changes based on <br />field work and data will require supplemental authorization to be completed. <br />2) This scope of services does not include the preparation of a Storm Water <br />Pollution Abatement Plan, Water Pollution Abatement Plan, or the completion of <br />a Contributing Zone Application. <br />e) SUE Services; <br />f) Geotechnical Services. If roadway pavement structure analysis or retaining wall <br />analyses are required a supplemental authorization would be necessary; <br />g) Survey Services that are not provided under this Agreement specifically include; <br />obtaining right of entry to private properties; topographic surveys or generation of <br />contours except as outlined in item vi above; boundary surveys; research of adjacent <br />owner/property information; acquiring certificates/abstracts of title or title reports; <br />tree survey, except as outlined in item vi above; staking or location of boreholes; <br />staking of proposed centerline; construction phase survey; other services or expenses <br />which may become necessary for the completion of this project but which are not <br />reasonably anticipatable at this time. <br />KBR-Sessom Drive Roadway Improvements Agreement <br />1g <br />
