monitoring/reporting, scheduling, general correspondence, office administration, and invoicing, <br />as follows: <br />a) Project Reports: <br />1) Prepare and submit monthly progress reports and invoices to the City for review <br />and approval. <br />2) Prepare and submit interim progress reports every two weeks to the City for <br />review and approval. <br />1.1.4 Maintain an "issues list" identifying date Project related issues become known, person <br />responsible for solution, date solution will be provided, and final resolution of the issue. <br />1.1.5 Participate in meetings with the City to include: <br />a) One (1) initial kickoff meeting; <br />b) Eight (8) monthly progress meetings; <br />c) Four (4) follow up meetings; <br />d) Two (2) meetings with TxDOT; and <br />e) Four (4) meetings with TxState. <br />1.2 TASK 2 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN PHASE <br />The Engineer will: <br />1.2.1 Design Studies -Review existing plans, field conditions, and right-of--way plans for the <br />implication to design, construction, and schedule and provide options and preferred approaches <br />for minimizing impacts to include: <br />a) Review of roadway design parameters, including, but not limited to, horizontal <br />alignment, vertical alignment, grades, retaining wall locations and pavement sections: <br />b) Review of existing bicycle and pedestrian facilities and new facilities through TxState <br />campus; and <br />c) Review of utility locations to determine potential conflicts and required adjustments. <br />1.2.2 Analyze the Peques/Sessom intersection and provision of three (3) alternative alignments <br />to improve pedestrian and bicycle safety and traffic movements. The Engineer's alternatives will <br />take into account cost, right-of--way requirements, utility relocations, environmental constraints, <br />and other variables as agreed upon with the City. The Engineer will develop a matrix in <br />coordination with the City to determine the best alignment for development. <br />1.2.3 Perform site visit(s) to visually verify locations requiring spot repair/reconstruction. The <br />Engineer will analyze each location to best determine the cause of roadway damage and prepare <br />one (1) alternative to repair and prevent future damage. <br />KBR-Sessom Drive Roadway Improvements Agreement <br />
