<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> <br />ISSUED BY: <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />SHEET NO. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: <br /> <br />REVISION NO. <br /> <br />SMALL GENERAL SERVICE <br />RATE SCHEDULE - SGS <br /> <br />MONTHLY RATE (continued) <br /> <br />The above rate per kWh will be adjusted plus or minus in <br />accordance with the formula specified in the Power Cost Adjust- <br />ment Clause. The amount computed at the "Monthly Rate" shall be <br />subject to taxes, assessments and surcharges imposed by any gov- <br />ernmental authority which are assessed on the basis of revenues <br />from electric service or volume of electricity purchased or sold. <br /> <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> <br />The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the "Customer <br />Charge" and all applicable rate adjustments. <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br /> <br />The due date of the bill shall be fifteen (15) days after <br />issuance, and payment must be received in the electric utility <br />office of the City by 5:00 P.M. on the due date. Any and all <br />amounts remaining unpaid after the due date shall be assessed a <br />charge in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. <br /> <br />INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br /> <br />The City will make reasonable provisions to insure satisfac- <br />tory and continuous service, but does not guarantee a continuous <br />supply of electrical power and energy and shall not be liable for <br />damage occasioned by interruptions of service or failure to com- <br />mence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public enemy, or for <br />any cause reasonably beyond its control, including, but not <br />limited to the failure or breakdown of facilities, floods, fire, <br />strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having jurisdiction <br />in the premises, or for interruptions which are necessary for <br />inspection, repair, or changes in equipment or facilities of the <br />City or its bulk power suppliers. <br /> <br />The Customer shall notify the City immediately of any <br />defects, trouble or accident which may in any way affect the <br />delivery of electric service by the City. <br />
