MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE RATE SCHEDULE - MGS MONTHLY RATE (continued) The above rate per kWh will be adjusted plus or minus in accordance with the formula specified in the Power Cost Adjust- ment Clause. The amount computed at the "Monthly Rate" shall be subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any gov- ernmental authority which are assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or volume of electricity purchased or sold. MINIMUM CHARGE The monthly' minimum charge shall be the sum of the "Customer Charge", the "Demand Charge" and all applicable rate adjustments. PAYMENT The due date of the bill shall be fifteen (15) days after issuance, and payment must be received in the electric utility office of the City by 5: 00 P.M. on the due date. Any and all amounts remaining unpaid after the due date shall be assessed a charge in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND The "Billing Demand" each month shall be the greater of the following: a. the highest kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the month; 65% of the highest kW demand established during the immediately preceding 11 months; 30 kW. b. c. POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT The monthly metered demand may be adjusted to an equivalent 90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer.
