SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY ELECTRIC TARIFF ISSUED BY:- CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS SHEET NO. EFFECTIVE DATE: REVISION NO. MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE - TIME-OF-DAY RATE RATE SCHEDULE - MGS-TD The City shall charge and collect for medium general ser- vice, time-of-day rate, on the basis of the provisions of this Rate Schedule - MGS-TD. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and Rules and Regulations for Electric Service are incorporated by reference as a part of this rate schedule. AVAILABILITY This rate schedule is available throughout the entire terri- tory served by the City of San Marcos. APPLICABILITY This rate schedule is applicable to all time-of-day service required for lighting, power and any other purpose, other than residential service as defined in Rate Schedule - RS, where the maximum metered demand in any month is 50 kW or greater but less than 500 kW for which no specific rate schedule is available. This rate schedule is only applicable to qualified customers who require a substantial portion of their electrical demand dur- ing the Off-Peak period, as defined herein. Prior to a customer receiving service, the City will investigate the load character- istics of such customer in order to determine if this rate sched- du1e may be advantageous for the customer. If the City deter- mines that the customer is qua1.ified to receive service under this rate schedule, special metering equipment will be installed to measure the customer's demand and energy requirements during the On-Peak and Off-Peak periods. Customers requesting service under this rate schedule will be required to execute a contract for service with a minimum term of twelve (12) months. CHARACTER OF SERVICE Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating cur- rent, 60 Hertz, single or three phase, at the City's option of standard available voltages. Standby or resale service is not permitted under this rate schedule.
