SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY ELECTRIC TARIFF ISSUED BY: CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS SHEET NO. EFFECTIVE DATE: REVISION NO. MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE - TIME-OF-DAY RATE RATE SCHEDULE - MGS-TD DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMANDS The "On-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the On- Peak Period for the month. The "Off-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the high- est kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the Off-Peak Period for the month in excess of the On-Peak Billing Demand. POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT The monthly metered demands may be adjusted to an equivalent 90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer. INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE The City will make reasonable provisions to insure satisfac- tory and continuous service, but does not guarantee a continuous supply of electrical power and energy and shall not be liable for damage occasioned by interruptions of service or failure to com- mence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public enemy, or for any cause reasonably beyond its control, including, but not limited to the failure or breakdown of facilities, floods, fire, strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having jurisdiction in the premises, or for interruptions which are necessary for inspection, repair, or changes in equipment or facilities of the City or its bulk power suppliers. The Customer shall notify the City immediately of any defects, trouble or accident which may in any way affect the delivery of electric service by the city.
