In the event that the meter has been tested at the <br />customer's request within the previous two years and the meter <br />is found to be within the accuracy standards established by the <br />American National Standards Insti tute . then the charge shall <br />apply. <br /> <br />THEFT OF SERVICE: <br /> <br />The Minimum Charge will be made for any incidence of tamper- <br />ing with the meter installation, interference with the proper <br />working thereof, any theft of service by any person on Customer's <br />premises, or evidence of such tampering, interfering, or theft <br />(energy diversion). The Minimum Charge shall be i~posed for the <br />detection and confirmation of energy diversion. <br /> <br />In addition, the Customer shall pay the reconnect charge, <br />the expenses of damage to or replacement of the City's equipment <br />and the estimated cost of power and energy not recorded on meter <br />by reason of energy diversion at the applicable rate using the <br />City's best estimated data. <br /> <br />DELINOUENT BILL COLLECTION CHARGE: <br /> <br />The charge, not to exceed $10. 00 shall be made when a <br />special contact of any type is required to collect a delinquent <br />payment. <br />
