FAR Part 91
requires pilots to make a left turn on an approach unless the airport has
visual markings indicating right-hand turns. Enclosed is a copy of this
rule.

Recommend that right-hand pattern indicators be installed for these
approaches.

Recommend that the X's used to indicate runway closures be in accordance
with advisory circular guidance.

d.

Obstructions.

Runway end 12 approach has trees that penetrate the 50:1 Part 77 surface.
These trees, targeted during the inspection, need to be removed or topped.

Trees near Taxiway C need to be removed.
obstruction removal.

Please do this as a part of the

e.

Airport Operations.

The Airport Facility Directory (A/FD) shows 24-hour Crash-Fire-Rescue
(CFR) service available. Using a privately owned vehicle for airport operations will
only encourage others to drive on runways and taxiways.

f.

Fueling.

The new Underground Storage Test (UST) Regulation will become effective
July of 1988. The following requirements for ex;Ísting UST Systems are
established under the new rule are: (1) corrosion protection, (2)
release detection methods, and (3) spill and overfill prevention measures.

Underground bare steel tanks will be required to have a corrosion
protection system and a leak detection system within 3 years of the
implementation of the regulation. If the UST has corrosion protection, a
leak detection system must be installed within 5 years,

A leak detection system must be able to detect a leak in the UST,
including the piping.
