<br />24 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-147R <br /> <br />A RR~OLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A <br />CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH <br />THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />SAN MARCOS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID <br />CONTRACT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has available to it Two Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) in Certificates of Obligation for public <br />improvements at the San Marcos Municipal Airport; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to build a Municipal Airport <br />Terminal Building with the available funds; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to hire an architect to provide plans and <br />specifications for such an airport terminal building; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />IT <br /> <br />RESOLVED <br /> <br />BY <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That a contract for the provision of architectural <br />services in connection with the preparation of plans and specifications <br />for the San Marcos Terminal Building, a copy of which contract <br />is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and <br />purposes, be and is the same hereby approved in all respects. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, J.E. <br />Younger, is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the <br />City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
