<br />precinct in which the election is ordered to be held, which copy shall <br />serve as a notice or writ of election as required by Section 4.007 of <br />Chapter 4 of the Election Code, V.T.C.A. <br /> <br />SECTION 15. That testing of the automatic tabulating equipment <br />shall be performed and notice thereof shall be given in accordance with <br />Subchapter D of Chapter 127 of the Election Code, V.T.C.A. <br /> <br />SECTION 16. That the rate of compensation to be paid judges, <br />clerks, and assistants to the Tabulation Supervisor for services <br />rendered during said special runoff election by said City is <br />established at Five Dollars ($5.00) per hour. <br /> <br />SECTION 17. That the additional compensation to be paid judges <br />who deliver returns of said election is hereby established at <br />Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00). <br /> <br />SECTION 18. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an <br />emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of <br />the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be presented at three <br />separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until <br />the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage <br />be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and <br />after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of general <br />circulation in the area. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND <br />1987. <br /> <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />April <br /> <br />cAJt.est: .
