Citizen Comments
Justin Montagna, 703 Academy, #356A, San Marcos, formally invited the City Council to the 8th
annual Bobcat Build scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 10 a.m. -2 p.m. They still need job sites.
Garry White, 701 Aquarena Springs, #303B, San Marcos, lives in Clear Springs near the
intersection of Sessoms and Aquarena Springs. Due to the trees and bushes at the corner, drivers
are unable to see pedestrians or even see the "Yield to Pedestrian" sign. It is impossible for
drivers turning right to stop in time. He noted that a driver cannot yield to a pedestrian they
cannot see. He requested that the City issue work orders to city maintenance crews to trim the
bushes as that corner.
Stacie Hackler, 331-100 W. Hopkins, San Marcos, believes the Alamo Draft House would be a
fantastic opportunity for everyone here in town. Neighboring communities would love to come
here as well. She cannot see how it would not benefit the city. As for the incentive being asked
for, she feels they should use their own money because they will do well.
Chris Birkhimer, 1703 N IH-35, Apt. 46, San Marcos, signed up, but left early.
George Gilbert, 15 Timbercrest, San Marcos, signed up, but left early.
0
RM021610 Minutes Page 2
