OA <br />FFICE DMINISTRATOR <br />This position will report toand supportthe Director of Greater San Marcos <br />Economic Development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have <br />bookkeeping skills. <br />Responsibilities <br />Complete special projects as assigned. <br />Work closely withand supportthe staff. <br />Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. <br />Online review and processing of employee expense reports. <br />Minimal daily incoming mail sorting and outgoing mail processing (in- <br />house). <br />Some general office administration. <br />Assist in communications management: screening and/or redirecting to the <br />appropriate parties, phone, mail, and email correspondences. <br />Manage a monthly promotional mailing to local and regional hotel <br />motels. <br />Answer multi-line phones; perform general office duties and filing, faxing, <br />and photocopying. <br />Provide administrative support, maintaining calendar and schedules and <br />typing correspondence. <br />Qualifications <br />Three+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in an economic <br />development, marketing, business, or tourism environment. <br />Self-starter with a high energy level and ability to work under pressure. <br />Ability to manage multiple tasks. <br />Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and intermediate Excel). <br />Type 50 WPM or above. <br />Time management and prioritization skills. <br />Ability to maintain flexibility within a fast-paced and ever-changing <br />environment. <br />Detail and people oriented. <br />Education <br />Bachelors or Associates Degree required. <br />Implementation Plan 49 <br />September 2009 <br />
